PayEm is looking for a key player, highly-motivated and independent Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing finance team.  

In PayEm you will have a unique opportunity to use and influence the PayEm SaaS platform, which makes finance life much easier, as it manages and automates financial processes, such as procurement and approval flow, employee reimbursements, and travel, and connects finance processes with company spend.

The bookkeeper will be responsible for the daily accounting duties and financial transactions in our books.


  • Certified bookkeeper (Minimum level 2. Type 3 is an advantage)
  • 5+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Experience in a Hi-Tech or multi-national company - Must
  • High-level English (both spoken and written)
  • Experience working with NetSuite - Must
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Team player, service-oriented with a hands-on approach
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

About the role

  • Support month, quarter, and year closing procedures
  • Manage local and foreign AP including processing vendor invoices
  • Direct communication with vendors and employees on an ongoing basis
  • Managing workpapers such as accrued expenses and other closing entries for cut-off periods
  • Responsible for the payments process
  • Responsible for PayEm platform, which manages and automates finance processes, including review expenses and maintaining approval flows
  • Assist and support our external audit process
  • Assist in improving and developing accounting policies and procedures
  • Ad hoc accounting projects as needed
