Frontend Lead

PayEm is a promising Fintech startup, backed by the biggest venture capitalist in Israel & the US. Our product disrupts organizational finance by providing the first SaaS for both Procurement & Finance teams.

We are looking for a FrontEnd Tech Lead to help grow our product and make an impact on our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in front end web applications development
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js state management (Redux)
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+, TypeScript), CSS, HTML 5
• Passion for solving complex problems at scale
• Ability to tackle hard technical challenges while keeping a product oriented mindset
• Experienced in building reusable and responsive UI components
• Experience in writing code in Agile, CI/CD environment
• Team player, who knows how to get things done and enrich the people around them
• Efficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Frontend tech lead, on top of being an hands-on essential part of a domain driven team, you will guide front-end developers across the R&D organization on best work practices, UI infrastructures, UI designs, and development tools. You will design and implement web applications in React. You will take ownership of front-end cross teams designs, roadmap and work practices in the company.

You will be expected to bring creativity, professionalism and fast solutions to many UI/UX challenges while working closely with Product and Design, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
